This issue provides individual biographies of each avenger from the silver age to the present along with a three-page history of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Also included are descriptions of famous foes and allies of the Avengers. Script by Peter Sanderson. Contributions from Mark Gruenwald, Paul Becton, Dan Carr, and Michael Kraiger. Cover by George Perez. The front side of the wraparound cover depicts the current Avengers line-up (on the top screen) and the five original Avengers vs. Loki on the smaller bottom screen. The back side shows Jarvis in the Avengers communications room with a screenshot of every avenger through the years. The inside front cover is a black and white version of the outside back cover. Conversely, the inside back cover is a black and white version of the front cover. Over 50 well-known covers from the Avengers 1st series are included inside. 48 pages Cover price $1.95.
