    Bringing Up Father in Society (1919) is the "Official Programme" for the 1919 production of a musical comedy based on the famous George McManus cartoon strip. A colorful McManus cartoon of Jiggs Mahoney graces the front cover, while the back cover lists the cast and songs from the musical. Besides one-page samples of Rossiter-owned songs like "Pickaninny Blues" and "Alexander's Band Is Back In Dixieland," the volume contains nine pages of music and lyrics for "Ireland, The Land I'll Always Love," "Since You Went Away," "That Family Called The U.S.A.," "You've Stolen The Key To My Heart," "Somebody's Darling Boy," "Let's Help The Irish Now," and "When Someone Dreams Of Someone." Nine pages of fascinating era advertisements for books and novelties includes "Stage Jokes - Heard At The Minstrel Show," "Gypsy Nan's Dream Dictionary," "The Wizard's Manual," Rib Rocking Riddles," "Lover's Secrets."
