Reddy Killowatt's origin is told, from his sleep in a piece of amber, to his being released by William Gilbert in his discovery of electrical charges caused by rubbing amber on cloth. Reddy narrates the comic, recounting experiments by Stephen Grey, and Professor Muesschenbroek, who developed the first batteries. Benjamin Franklin, Michael Farraday, and Thomas Edison's contributions to the understanding and exploitation of electricity are also covered. 16 pages, full color, standard comic book dimensions, all newsprint, 5c cover price.
