32-pages, full-color, 5-in. x 7-in., newsprint cover/interior, no cover price, promotional comic. The 32 pages premium / promotional comic was produced by The Canadian Nuclear Association and given away by the local Hydro-Electric company. This promotional comic discusses what nuclear radiation is and how it affects humans, plants and animals. Radiation poisoning and alternatively it's uses in medicine are shown, the anatomy of an atom, Albert Einstein, fission, the nuclear industry and why it is safe, the positive effects of radiation on the growing of vegetables etc., etc. A two-pages centerfold discusses how the nuclear industry is helping to protect Canadians. Also noted is that fresh milk in Southern Canada is tested regularly for Strontium 90 and Cesium 137.
