Yessir, 1953/4 was one heck of a mighty fine period.

Hey there, gore fiends, there aren't too many contents pages that can boast this level of writer and artist scribblers as was the case way back with Ace Magazines' Baffling Mysteries, now in its cadaverous fourth PS volume. I mean, c'mon, take a look: Lou Cameron, Sy Grudko, Louis Zansky, Ken Rice, Jim McLaughlin, Martin Rose, Jay Scott Pike, Mike Sekowsky, and Maurice Gutwirth. The original copies of these comics will have been swapped a hundred-fold or sold for pennies when the recess bell sounded in the magical long-ago 1950s schoolyards.
