Humorous Evolutionary War Tie-In
Comic book version of the TV sitcom and cartoon that aired on NBC from 1986 to 1990 featuring an Alien Life Form (ALF) living with a family. ALF's old girl friend from Melmac crash lands on Earth and takes up residence with the Tanners and ALF in "The Return of Rhonda." Then the Tanners visit Yosemite National Park and ALF has promised to behave himself. But how long do you think that will last in "Back to Human Nature." In "Safe At Home," Willie gets tickets to a skybox at a baseball game and that means ALF can go along to the game. Then in "You Give Me Fever," ALF gets an illness brought on by media simulation and starts acting like the people and characters he saw on screen. And in "A Campy Approach," when Brian goes away to summer camp, ALF gets worried about the youngster and tries to help Brian. Issue also has "You Say You Want An Evolution." Comic book version of the TV sitcom and cartoon that aired on NBC from 1986 to 1990 featuring an Alien Life Form (ALF) living with a family. It's hot and the Tanners can't use their air conditioner. So ALF resolves to do something to make things cooler in "Bad Day At Blackout." Then ALF tries to resolve Brian's sibling worries by telling him his own experiences on Melmac when he was younger in "Brother, Can You Spare a Slime?" And in "Interview with the Hampire," ALF explains to the Tanners all about Melmac Hampires when one such creature invades the Tanner household. Then in "Getting His Just Desert," ALF has to spend time with Kate's mother Dorothy when the Tanners go out of town. In "Going, Going, Gonzo," Brian needs help in playing baseball and ALF is there to assist. And then in "Oh, Baby," ALF goes on the family picnic and brings along a new toy that causes all sorts of problems. Issue also has one-page gag strips: "ALF's Exercise Workout" and "Going Up." But he tags along and causes all kinds of difficulties and even ends up on one of the space shuttle launches in "A Very Shuttle Hint" and "Was This Trip Nasa-Sary?" Then Willie has an important golf game to play. But he can't play gold. No worries – ALF can help in "Par Time Job." And in "Buy Low – Shell High," ALF shows one of his most exciting adventures ever as an Orbit Guardsman. Story has the New Age Melmutant Abstract Turtles, a parody of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In "This Island ALF," a day at the beach becomes chaotic when ALF has an unusual reaction to a jellyfish sting. Then ALF helping Lynn with her homework turns disastrous in "She Blinded Me with Science." And in "This One's on the House," ALF goes along with Kate on a real estate job and thinks that the house is haunted. Issue also has an ALF "Luncheon's and Flagons Hard Roll-Playing Game.
