Movie cowboy Lash Larue is known for his trademark black outfit and his skill with a bullwhip. "Roving marshal" Lash investigates a protection racket targeting ranchers in Imperial Valley, and traces it back to the seemingly law-abiding owner of the local feed store. In Peaceful Corners, Lash tracks Red Frisby and his cattle-rustling outlaw gang. Lash has to keep Bill Lamont Jr. alive until he turns 21 and inherits his father's ranch, but ranch foreman Sledge has other ideas, in a story with nice art by an unknown artist.
