Overseas edition for the Armed Forces, distributed by the Special Services Division for the United States Army during World War II. This 5.5" x 3.5" novel is complete and was made available through an arrangement with Random House to be included with field rations given to soldiers during wartime. Softcover, 5.5" x 3.5", 128 pages, B&W, text only.

The Armed Services Edition was not sold to the general public, being published exclusively for overseas distribution to the Armed Forces in a convenient, economical form. Softcover paperback measures 6 1/2-in. x 4 1/2-in., 288 pages, black and white - text only.
