Stories by Richard E. Hughes. Art by Sheldon Moldoff. Cover by Ogden Whitney. The crew of an atomic-powered submarine roams the seas, battling threats to American naval supremacy. Commander Bill Battle, Doc Blake, Champ Ruggles, and Tony Gardello become The Atomic Commandos, sea-going adventurers assigned to battle a secret new threat to American security. Hostile flying saucers attacking the U.S. turn out to originate from neither outer space nor Soviet Russia, but from the undersea kingdom of Atlantis! Produced in 3-D Truevision, says the cover, with no glasses needed. This turns out to mean the panels are shaped like little TV screens against a black background, with no 3-D effects. Atomic Sub; What Do You Know About Torpedoes?; Nothing Ever Happens! 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
