1st printing. By Don Hahn and Tracey Miller-Zarneke. Before Ever After is a compilation of never-before-seen lecture notes from classes that were held in preparation for the production of Snow White. Walt knew that to fulfill his once-impossible dream of crafting a feature-length animated film, he had to establish an on-campus art school for his staff. He hand-picked Don Graham, a respected instructor from the Chouinard Art Institute, to hold classes on entertainment, drawing, and acting and was also innovative enough to document the thought process behind the nascent art form of feature animation.Previously unseen outside of the Disney studios, these lecture notes contain the wisdom behind Snow White, and this wisdom also provided the artistic foundation for many films to come. Hardcover, 8-in. x 11-in., 448 pages, full color. Cover price $40.00.

Sets #1 and 2 - Art by Carl Barks. The portfolio of art contained in this envelope reproduces sixty covers from The Carl Barks Library of Walt Disney's Donald Duck (Sets I & II), which originally appeared on Donald Duck Four Color and Donald Duck comic books from 1942-1969. Twenty-four of these covers appear in a large 12 X 8 5/8 format for the first time. Every effort has been made to make these untrimmed recreations look as if Carl Barks, or the original artists who drew them had also done their own coloring. Barks did not do all of the covers from this period, although over half of the oversized covers are by him. Thirty-six smaller full-color covers are reproduced in groups on the reverse of the large prints, along with notes to the covers indicating when and where they originally appeared and which ones are by Barks. The reverse pages also include a number of one-page gags, examples of Barks' oil paintings, and more. Includes 60 Art prints (with protective envelope), 8 1/2-in. x 12 1/2-in., 20 pages, Front side full color/back side B&W.

SET #3 - Art by Carl Barks. The portfolio of art contained in this envelope reproduces the classic covers of the first twenty issues of Uncle Scrooge comics as they appear in Set III of The Carl Barks Library. These covers originally appeared between 1952-1958 in the smaller, regular comic book format, but are done here in a beautifully rendered 12 X 8 5/8 size. These all show the full untrimmed pages of art, just as Barks drew them! Every effort has been made in these recreations to make them look as they might have if Carl Barks had originally colored them himself. All covers in this set are by Barks. Also included is the slipcase cover, drawn and colored by Barks especially for the Library. The reverse pages include Uncle Scrooge one page gag fillers, and three editorial commentaries on his stories by the Duck Man himself. Includes 20 Art prints (with protective envelope), 8 1/2-in. x 12 1/2-in., 20 pages, Front side full color/back side B&W. Cover price $15.00.
