"Like a Chicken Without a Head!", art by Reed Crandall; A doctor recommends a surgical procedure whereby the head is removed from the body and the heart is kept beating by artificial means so as to lengthen the time available for surgery; No one listens to him though, and being tired of being mocked, he destroys his formula. "Rudolph's Racket," art by Al Eadeh; An innkeeper keeps two large wolves in the cellar which devour curious guests so he can claim their valuables. "Propaganda!", art by Manny Stallman. "Time Marches On!", art by Harry Anderson; A man attempts to build a clock that can run forever by repairing itself, but no one understands why and mocks him, until he runs out of time and the undertaker pulls by his clothes to reveal he had replaced his inner organs with clock mechanism. 36 pgs., full color. "The Storm" (from Strange Tales #8), art by Vic Carrabotta; A killer hijacks a plane to escape the police; The pilot turns out to be Satan and he lands the plane in Hell. "This Way Out" (from Adventures into Weird Worlds #17), art by Carmine Infantino and Carl Burgos (last panel only); In a hospital prison ward, a condemned killer's other occupant in the room tells him that there are no bars on the window; The killer attempts to escape through the window, but the other patient in the room turns out to be Death and the window looks into the execution chamber. "The Little Monsters" (from Marvel Tales #114), art by Tony DiPreta; A nephew visits his uncle on an African plantation to ask for help with his gambling debts; When the uncle refuses, he resolves to murder him for the inheritance. "The Pharaoh Walks" (from Uncanny Tales #38) , script by Carl Wessler, art by Manny Stallman; A bookkeeper who resents his job rides an Egyptian solar ship into the beyond where the Pharaoh makes him his bookkeeper for all eternity. 36 pgs., full color. (from Adventures into Weird Worlds #13), art by Carmine Infantino; A mob breaks into the castle of a scientist and kills him as they have heard he is creating a vampire monster; The scientist was actually a hero, as the monster he created lives only off of the blood of other vampires. "The Furnace!" (from Mystic #27), script by Paul S. Newman, art by Al Eadeh; A wooden-legged ship's captain works his furnace stokers until they drop and there is only the most powerful one left; When the last of the coal is gone, they use wood until that is gone and they are still just short of port. "Men in Black" (from Menace #3), script by Stan Lee, art by John Romita; After losing his job, Jim Horton organizes a gang that wears black hoods to beat and rob anyone he considers "foreign," but his bigotry leads to his death. "The Wooden Box" (from Mystic #16), script by Stan Lee, art by George Roussos; When a pawn shop owner opens a wooden box that he has been warned against opening, he is transformed into a skeleton. 36 pgs., full color. "A Little Pain Never Hurt Anybody" (from Marvel Tales #117), art by Gil Kane; A dentist treats his patients without painkiller in order to save money; When he catches a brain surgeon making a pass at his wife, he suffers one of his fainting spells. "The Man in Black" (from Menace #2), script by Stan Lee, art by George Tuska; A Communist agent mistakes his contact for the man he is supposed to kill. "The Little Pests" (from Adventures into Terror #12), art by Manny Stallman; After a husband disposes of his murdered wife's body in the pond, his new girlfriend complains so much to the county about the mosquitoes around the house that they drain it. 36 pgs., full color. (from Adventures into Weird Worlds #16), art by Jack Keller; An old man in love with a Gypsy girl murders his rival; The girl continues to moon over the dead man so a Gypsy woman offers to make the old man resemble the man he killed; He goes to the gravesite at night with a picture and the sorceress summons the ghost and commands it to exchange faces with the old man. "I Know the Secret of the Poltergeist!" (from Tales to Astonish #1), art by Steve Ditko; An investigator works diligently to discover the logical explanations behind the odd occurrences at a couple's newly purchased home; He is, in fact, a poltergeist who attempts to allay suspicion of his kind's existence among humans. "You're Going to Die Yesterday" (from Adventures into Weird Worlds #5), art by Gerald Altman; A man uses a time machine in order to murder the father of his rival before he was ever born, but ends up making a mistake and killing his own father. 36 pgs., full color. (from Strange Tales #70), pencils by Jack Kirby, inks by Christopher Rule; A short lab assistant works on a growth serum to gain a normal man's height; The serum works too well, and he continues to grow so tall his life is endangered when the air becomes too thin to breathe; Just as he is about to black out, the serum wears off, and he is restored to his original height having learned a lesson to be satisfied with the way he is. "Tornado" (from Marvel Tales #130), art by Vic Carrabotta; A tornado that behaves as though it were under the control of a particular man turns out to be created by aliens to study the man's behavior, and he is killed when the observations are concluded. "The Last Man on Earth" (from Amazing Adult Fantasy #7), script by Stan Lee, art by Steve Ditko; A paranoid man seals himself in a bomb shelter, but instead of a war, he misses the discovery of immortality in space and the exodus of humanity. 36 pgs., full color. "Man with a Tail" (from Astonishing 18), art by Larry Woromay; A man born with a tail meets a woman with a tail at a carnival freak show and is happy that he is no longer alone, but she strangles him; Her tail reflects feline characteristics while his is that of a rodent. "The Toy Soldiers" (from Tales to Astonish 39--Comic erroneously says reprinted from Tales to Astonish 18), script by Stan Lee, art by Steve Ditko; A boy who enjoys toy soldiers buys a new civil war figure to place in his prisoner of war stockade; That evening, he and his father are attacked by an invader from the sixth dimension; Suddenly, the lights go out, and when they turn the lights back on, the invader has disappeared. 36 pgs., full color.
