First appearance of Blaze Carson (unnamed) in "The Sheriff"; The Sheriff is spending his quiet day playing checkers with one of the locals when he hears someone beating up on a horse. "Two Hungry Hikers" text story. "The Code of the West," art by Syd Shores; Dry Gultch, Nevada has been plagued with a series of bank robberies that has kept the town living in fear, and the sheriff unable to catch the gang responsible; 20 minutes after the most recent robbery, Sheriff Winn gathers a posse to go out looking for the thieves and bring them to justice. 36 pgs., full color. $0.10. "The Train That Wasn't There!", script by William Woolfolk, art by John Forte; A train containing gold bullion leaves from Grange City for the town of Tarleton, some 40 miles away; However, the train mysteriously vanishes along the tracks; While a posse is gathered to try and find the train, the Two-Gun Kid rides into Tarleton. "Killer's Alibi!", art by Syd Shores; A western town has been plagued by a series of cattle rustling in recent history; The gang, led by a mysterious leader rustles the old Thompson Place. "Guns, Gold, and Glory!", art by Syd Shores; Two-Gun Kid is checking into a hotel in Cactus County, Arizona where the clerk hands him a letter; It's from Two-Gun's friend Billy Bailey who writes that he is about to die and leaves Two-Gun his ranch in payment for once saving his life. "Gun Guard for Boot-Hill!"; The Sheriff is called out into the street because there is trouble with the incoming stagecoach; Rushing outside he finds that the shotgun rider has been killed, the third this week. "Terror Rides the Range!"; Outside of Silver City, mine owner Ted French is gunned down; The shooter is about to steal his personally designed saddle when suddenly he hears someone approaching and flees the murder scene. The approaching horse is Two-Gun Kid, who checks to see if the man is still alive. "African Incident" text story. "Aztec Gold Brings Hot-Lead Justice"; Riding through Mexico near the site of ancient Aztec temples, the Two-Gun Kid is shot at by a young Mexican boy; Two-Gun easily knocks the boy off his horse and is surprised that the boy has a powerful hate on for white men. "Death Deals the High Card"; Tod Haskell, a gambler from Boston, has come to town and begins working the gambling tables; When one of the local cowpokes accuses Tod of cheating at a game of Poker, Tod pulls out a gun and is about to shoot him when Sheriff Blaze Carson enters the saloon and shoots the gun out of Tod's hand. "Showdown on the Sonoma Stage"; In the town of Somona, a stage coach carrying gold is once more robbed and the driver shot dead; Hoping to stop the thief, the local banker hires Tex Taylor to ride shotgun on the next ride out.     "Brand of the Killers!"; Horn City: Two-Gun Kid is a patron at the Ace Saloon where he witnesses young Billy Horn is forced into an altercation with a patron whom Billy shoots dead. Article in defense of comics, comparing anti-comics critics to anti-novel critics. "Fine Feathers and Flying Fists!"; Two-Gun Kid hears a boy crying and goes to see if he is okay; He learns that the boy has been run out of town and school, and is intending to run away to become a gunfighter like the Two-Gun Kid. "Ghost Story" text story. "Nuggets of Doom!"; Jake Miller is toiling his gold panning operation when he is confronted by a gang of masked riders who demand that he turn over his gold; When Miller recognizes the voice of the gangs leader, the leader shoots Miller dead; Soon Blaze Carson and a crowd of local gold miners arrive to investigate.
