The cover was likely printed out of sequence and placed on the interior of issue #34 in error; otherwise, issue #34 does not exist. Superhero action with Freddy Freeman, who gains the same powers as his hero Captain Marvel, better known these days as Shazam. As if mad scientist Sivana isn't bad enough, this issue introduces his son Sivana Jr., like his father only with hair, who will become Captain Marvel Jr.'s arch-enemy over the years. Captain Marvel Jr. enlists the aid of an ant bear (a giant anteater) to find a rare striped panda stolen from the zoo. Opportunity Knoxx tries a laundry robot. Plus a historical footnote: a "Prisoner of War Fact Sheet" listing numbers, nationalities and work details for WWII POWs held in America. Another classic cover by Mac Raboy.
