"Gwen Stacy is Alive...and, Well...?!" Part 1 of 2. Script by Gerry Conway. Pencils by Ross Andru. Inks by Frank Giacoia and Dave Hunt (backgrounds). Cover by Gil Kane and John Romita. Peter Parker's world has turned upside down! Gwen Stacy is alive! Aunt May is in the hospital! And the Scorpion is on the loose! After confronting Gwen and calling her an imposter, Peter rushes to the hospital to see his aunt! Fortunately, Aunt May's condition has stabilized; so the restless web-slinger can leave her side...and find the nearest super-villain to pound! Ironically, the deadly Scorpion is in the vicinity and looking for a good scrap too! At a nearby cement processing plant, both men get their wish! The Amazing Spider-Man vs. the sinister Scorpion! A terrific fight! Cameo appearances by Anna Watson, Ned Leeds, Betty Brant, Joe Robertson, and Mary Jane Watson. Flashback cameo by the Green Goblin (aka Norman Osborn). (Note: The plot crosses over with Marvel Team-Up 33). The Scorpion previously appeared in Captain America 152. The letters page includes Marvel Value Stamp series A #100 Galactus by Jack Kirby. This story was reprinted in Marvel Tales 122. 32 pages. 25c cover price. Cover price $0.25.
