LOW ORBIT is a sci-fi/fantasy anthology featuring seven unique stories from creators NICK BRADSHAW, SEAN 'CHEEKS' GALLOWAY, ALINA GALLOWAY, RYAN ODAGAWA, JONBOY MEYER, ALLISON STROM, KEVIN DALTON, MARK ANDREW SMITH and MICHAEL WOODS. LONE STAR COMICS REVIEW BY REGIONAL MANAGER AARON SETTLE: If you're looking for something different, or better yet several something different, check out the Low Orbit Anthology. Low Orbit, with it's quick eight page stories spanning several different genres, brings back memories of Dark Horse Presents. While most of the stories are science fiction or fantasy, they represent a variety of artistic and storytelling styles that range from silly to very moving. Like any collection of this sort, not all of the stories will appeal to every reader, but even the pickiest reader will find several to their liking. "Songs From the Gully" and "Icarus Three" are probably my two favorite stories, but there are several more that I enjoyed. A word of warning though, these are eight page stories in an anthology so there is not a lot of closure. Readers can expect to be left anxiously awaiting the next installment for several of these stories, but that excitement of waiting for the next part of the story is part of what makes reading comic books fun. Cover price $6.99.

Written by Zeb Wells. Art by Dylan Burnett. Cover by Eduard Petrovich.
Scott Lang is back - and doing better than ever! Er, at least according to him. Ask his daughter, Stinger, and she'll say otherwise.
Desperate to raise Cassie's opinion of him, Scott takes a job from local beekeepers - only to stumble across a global conspiracy that could topple the world order! But what could put Ant-Man on the same side as Swarm, the Nazi scientist made of bees? Perhaps the most deadly foe Scott has ever faced!
With no choice but to call the Avengers, Spider-Man and the Black Cat for help, can Ant-Man convince them to take this threat - and him - seriously? If not, extermination is imminent - and the fate of the world may just fall on the miniature shoulders of Ant-Man and Stinger!

Antarctic Press Edition - Volume 1 - 1st printing. Collects Bad Kids Go to Hell (2009 Antarctic Press) #1-4. The Breakfast Club meets The Grudge in this sexy, dark comedy-thriller mini-series from scribe Matt Spradlin, co-creator of True Believer for the Sci-Fi Channel and visual effects creator for X-Men 2 and Beowulf, and hot new comic artist Anthony Vargas! A construction crew discovers a primal supernatural force when they break ground for a new commemorative library for Crestview Academy, a prestigious Midwestern prep school and home to the spoiled offspring of the city's social elite. Three years later, six of Crestview's richest (and hottest) students are brought together early one Saturday for detention inside the newly completed library. Bored, the kids talk about their school's infamous "dark presence", and the kids goad one another into a half-hearted seance. Then the joke turns deadly when they rouse an angry spirit...and start to die one by one in horrible accidents! However, as the kids drop like flies, are the murders really the work of an evil phantom, or has one of these six spoiled brats secretly conspired to bring them all together for detention in order to "level" the social playing field and do away with the competition? Softcover, 132 pages, full color. Mature Readers Cover price $14.99.
