John Carter provides a distraction so the women can get away, but he is captured by the green Martians for use in their gladiatorial games. Bosko loses his overcoat that has $8 in it, so he goes around cutting the tails off of every overcoat in town until he finds it. Plus a text story featuring Dick Tracy.
