    Dime Press #4 (estimated print run was 2,000, released only in Italy), featuring the first appearance of Hellboy (predates Hellboy's appearance in Next Men #21 (December, 1993). Dime Press is an independent Italian comic book publisher which produced a series of 22 comics on various Italian characters (Dylan Dog, Tex, Nathan Never. Etc.). From an interview with Mike Mignola: "The Dime Press...is the first drawing of the Hellboy that more or less exists today (stone hand, etc)... The '91 drawing is the first time I used the name Hellboy, but hadn't yet thought of creating an actual series about the character...the character from '91 bears little resemblance to the modern version of Hellboy."
