"Death Drive!" Written by Howard Mackie. Art by Mark Texeira. While Ghost Rider crawls under the debris of Deathwatch's demolished office building, Linda Wei reports in a live broadcast that Ghost Rider is responsible for the deaths in the building's homeless shelter basement. Ghost Rider hears voices of the survivors and anguishes over the death surrounding him, vowing vengeance. Meanwhile, Deathwatch soaks in the pain and death from his new office, and summons Hag and Troll. With Beck now superfluous, Deathwatch kills the assistant. At the demolition site, Ghost Rider encounters a dying woman and comforts her in her final moments. Later, Deathwatch, Hag and Troll assault the police precinct and kill the ninjas being interrogated by Badilino. Badilino shoots Deathwatch, but the villains escape. Meanwhile, Ghost Rider discovers a group of survivors and leads them to safety. Deathwatch prepares for a flight to the Middle East, but when he learns that Ghost Rider is alive, he delays the trip to attend to the loose in. Now willing to kill Deathwatch, Ghost Rider rushes to the hospital, where Snowblind is being treated for gunshot wounds afflicted by Badilino. Eager to reveal Deathwatch's location, Snowblind eases Ghost Rider's conscience by assuring him that Deathwatch isn't human. 32 pages, FC. Cover price $1.75.

Written by Chuck Dixon. Art by Tod Smith and David Mowry. Cover by Jason Palmer. The Streetbeast; In his efforts to bring in the Green Hornet, Commissioner Hamilton cuts a deal with a manufacturer for his police department to borrow an experimental tank-like armored-and-armed vehicle, the Streetbeast (the maker hopes the publicity will raise interest from the military); However, two vehicular oriented thugs, the Skid Brothers, are among the viewers of Ham's televised announcement of his new acquisition and decide it's "too cool to be wasted on the pigs"; They have a surprisingly easy time stealing it, to the consternation of both its owners and city officials; The Skids make a deal with a crime boss who wants to fill in the just created power vacuum (see last issue): if they take out the Green Hornet, he puts them on his payroll; During all this, the Hornet is making a deal of his own with a chop-shop operator to build a new, less visually distinctive but equally "accessorized" Black Beauty.
