Color cover by Richard "Grass" Green features Xal-Kor the Human Cat. Back cover by Alan Weiss is of Dr. Weird. "Let's Talk It Over!" column features letters from Charles Schreck, Larry Bigman, Carl Gafford, Robert Bloch, Harry Warner Jr., David Brown, Al Kuhfeld, William Taylor Jr., Richard "Grass" Green, Ron Lightburn, Jon Jensen, George R.R. Martin, and Ronn Foss. There is also a note from Glenn Lord, the agent for the Robert E. Howard estate at that time, which explains the history of the Howard story "Gods of the North" (aka "The Frost Giant's Daughter"), which was adapted into comic book form in the previous issue. Stories: "Xal-Kor the Human Cat vs. The Glow Worm," (script by Richard "Grass" Green, art by Green and Landon Chesney); "King of the Hill" (script and art by Steve Kelez) - Note: This story was uncredited. In the next issue, it was revealed that Steve Kelez did the story and art. Many readers mistakenly believed that Buddy Saunders did this story. Also features Dr. Weird in "Death in the Skull-World!"
