Cover by Henry Scarpelli. Stories by Steve Skeates. Art by Richard "Grass" Green, Henry Scarpelli and Anthony Ferme. The classic comedy duo of TV, radio and film lives again in an animated cartoon and this tie-in comic. What was supposed to be a kid's comic based on a cartoon inspired by a vaudeville comedy team took a left turn into weirdness, thanks to the late '60s sensibilities of comics scribe Steve Skeates and underground comix legend Richard "Grass" Green. Lou becomes the superhero Captain Costello, but he still can't win Bud's respect. The fellows go out West. Lou builds a robot, but Bud is dubious. A parody of Little Orphan Annie. When the Kingpin learns that student protestors are taking over the exhibit hall, he makes his move to steal the tablet! But the large crime lord doesn't know that Spider-Man's alter ego is a student at ESU. So when the Kingpin storms the exhibit hall, the web-slinger is right behind him! Can the wall-crawler keep the students safe and the tablet secure...while clashing with the Kingpin? Cameo appearances by Joe Robertson, J. Jonah Jameson, Gwen Stacy, Aunt May, and Anna Watson.
