First appearance of the Living Laser in "The Living Laser!" Part 1 of 2. Script by Stan Lee. Art by Don Heck. Cover by Don Heck. A new super-villain bursts on the scene! And he's using -- light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation -- as his primary weapon! After robbing a bank, Arthur Parks (aka the Living Laser) has a chance encounter with Janet van Dyne...and he is immediately smitten by her beauty. But the Living Laser's attraction to the Wasp is twisted -- and he attacks Goliath in order to eliminate him from Jan's life! Hank Pym defeats the Living Laser, and it seems like the episode is over. However Arthur Parks escapes and begins a new crime spree across the city! So now the Avengers have to find and defeat the Living Laser again! Cameo appearance by Dr. Bill Foster.
