    Tex Ritter Western (1950) 13

Stories and art by Tony Tallarico and others. Movie cowboy Tex Ritter tames the West with his six-guns, his horse White Flash and his dog, Fury. Tex pursues a mysterious white-skinned Native who stole a ranch payroll, even though Tex knows there are no tribes in the area. Tall tale-spinner Buffalo Bill reveals how a messenger can get through a snowfall without leaving any footprints. Tex investigates the murder of a ranch foreman, and the only suspects are his Native hired hands and their cruel manager. The kid in the cover photo looks like he could be Tex's son John, later a famous actor in his own right.
