    Stories and art by George Evans and Otto Binder (credited as Eando Binder). To go with its lineup of comics based on classic Western movie stars, Fawcett created their own version, cowboy hero Bob Colt. The model on the photo covers was Steve Holland, later the cover model for Bantam Books' Doc Savage reprints. Several stories in this issue feature art by EC legend George Evans. In Bob Colt's "origin story," he tracks his father's killer, the outlaw Ferris, all the way to Timbertown to bring him to justice. Then, outlaws Jed and Hank try to track Bob and Pablo back to their secret headquarters, Hidden Ranch. Bob investigates a stage robbery, and a stray acorn gives away the culprit.
