Cover by Bob Fujitani. Stories and art by Rudy Palais, Maurice del Bourgo and Bob Powell. Harvey assembled material for this early pre-Code horror comic, including the introduction of Powell's supernatural character The Man in Black. But there is some uncertainty as to whether it was actually published, other than this sort-of "ashcan" edition. Professor Smart and Mrs. Smart introduce the criminal mastermind called the Gila Monster, and the supernatural villain known as the Devil. A giant falcon appears from nowhere and directs a WWII bomber to a Japanese scientist's laboratory. The Evil Essence; The Man in Black; Introducing The Devil. Page count unknown, B&W.
