Freckles, a leopard in medieval times, reveals how he was transformed from a bullied nerd into the heroic knight Sir Spot, the Lion-Hearted Leopard. "The Cub Reporter" (a bear cub in a diaper) tails Inspector Bloodhound as he investigates who's robbing the flower shops. Goat con man "Kid Gloves" smuggles himself into South America inside a bunch of bananas, but soon he's up to his old tricks. Plus a vintage ad for Captain Marvel merch, including a Capt. Marvel statuette, Mary Marvel pin, and Jughead-style Captain Marvel hat. Captain Marvel Bunny appears on the cover (where he seems pretty chummy with rogue Kid Gloves), but not in the comic.
