In an early Pogoverse story by Kelly, Albert tricks the alligator children and eats the presents that Pogo and Bumbazine hid in his house. This story marks the final appearance of Bumbazine, the sole human character in the Pogo stories. In another Kelly story, an elephant and a monkey go to the beach.
