"The Terror and the Compassion," script by Steve Skeates, art by Bernard Baily; The Spawn of Frankenstein awakens from a dream to find a young woman about to be raped by her date; The Spawn scares the man and woman, and carries the fainted woman to safety; However, the man revives and tries to run down the Spawn, but the monsters strength and durability only ends up wrecking the car and not harming the monster; When the girl revives from her spell, she flees the monster and tries to get away, she ends up running into a cult who wishes to use her as a sacrifice in one of their black masses. 36 pgs., full color.
