Cover by Ernie Bushmiller. Stories and art by Burne Hogarth, Ernie Bushmiller, Rudolph Dirks, Ernest Hix, and Raeburn Van Buren. United's anthology featured reprints of early comic strips, including Tarzan, Captain and the Kids and Nancy. The new format that started with issue #84 allows for larger reprints of Raeburn van Buren's detailed art on "Abbie an' Slats." Slats is content to let Becky believe he's dead after the accident. But when he must act quickly to save his new friend Sky-Pie Pete, he makes a miraculous recovery, and realizes he can return to Becky. Responding to a call for help from his friend Pangola, Tarzan is told that the "Queen of the White Fires" rules the Wakambas now, in a Tarzan strip with art by Burne Hogarth. The Family Workshop; Nancy; Strange as It Seems; Captain and the Kids; Tarzan; Abbie an Slats; Ella Cinders. 48 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
