Janie gets a job at the circus and meets handsome Ben, learning only later that he's a clown. They fall in love, but she doesn't think being a clown is a serious job, in a story with art by Marc Swayze. Lying in wait in the park to commit a murder, Johnny thinks back on Joanie and how it all came to this. General's daughter June tires of men in uniform, tells Bob she won't marry him while he's in the Army, and rebels against the military's rules and order.
