1st Edition - 2nd and later printings. Story and art by Judd Winick. Without the third season of MTV's The Real World, set in San Francisco, Pedro Zamora would have lived and died quietly, a Cuban immigrant who became an AIDS educator after his HIV diagnosis at the age of 17. But in 1993, he and seven others were selected for the cast of The Real World, and Pedro's battle with AIDS, his irrepressible good nature, his love affair with Sean Sasser, and his growing friendship with his housemates would become public knowledge. When Pedro succumbed to complications of AIDS in November 1994, news of his death was carried on every major network and made international headlines. Thousands of letters arrived from around the world. Even President Clinton applauded Pedro's bravery in speaking out to young people about AIDS prevention and self-esteem. Judd Winick, a struggling cartoonist, had also been chosen for that season of The Real World, and became Pedro's roommate and close friend. His cartoon memoir tells the story of their friendship and serves as a vivid memorial to a bright-eyed and gifted man who made more of his 22 years of life than most of us could. Softcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 188 pages, B&W. Cover price $16.95.

Power Pack has to save the Snarks from themselves?but why would the kids help their greatest enemies? Will this decision be the nail that drives the team apart? "Shon Bury, Colleen Doran and Terry Austin aren't reinventing, revitalizing, rebooting or re-anything-ing POWER PACK. Tomoko Taniguchi, the popular artist of Call Me Princess and Aquarium, returns with an all-new series from CPM! Both a charming fairy and an adventure story, Princess Prince is also a fun, fantasy adventure set in the magical Kingdom of Gemstone. Starring Laurie and Matthew, the Princess and Prince of the kingdom, the series follow them on a quest to find a mysterious, lost treasure. Like all Japanese shojo (women's/girls' comics), it's not just a fun and romantic adventure, but also a story with fully-developed characters struggling with what it means to be a boy or a girl. Tomoko Taniguchi's art style is at its liveliest and most engaging in this all-new series, and she's now a regular and popular guest at U.S. cons. The first issue features an alternate, wraparound cover by Leah Hernandez (Rumble Girls), shipping in a 50/50 ratio. b&w, 32pgs. Cover price $2.95.
