June 1947 (4706) - Mountain Boys mini calendar/pamphlet from the year 1947. These were distributed by many different companies across the country. Each mini includes an illustration and caption featuring Paul Webb's Mountain Boys comic strip characters and opens to reveal a newspaper style centerfold giving news on the Boy's home and the colorful characters who reside there. On the backside is an advertisement to rebore your engine so that the pistons can run smoothly.

Cover by Sheldon Mayer (credited as Bud Fisher). Stories and art by Al Smith (credited as Bud Fisher), Sol Hess, W. A. Carlson, Cliff Rhodes, Pete Costanza and C.C. Beck.
