Stories by Sheldon Stark (credited as Edgar Wallace). Art and cover by Lyman Anderson. Pioneering comics publisher David McKay's Feature Book was the first US comic book to devote complete issues to a single character. This issue reprinted Inspector Wade comic strips from June 17 to Nov. 6, 1937. Wade was the detective hero of popular novelist Edgar Wallace, best known these days for creating King Kong.
