In comic book format, the history of powered flight is told, beginning with the Wright Brothers through the early 1900s, then into World War 2. Also included is a brief history of the barnstormers and aviation advancements during the 1920s and 30's, plus a few examples of the more famous planes from the various periods up to 1953. The history of aviation as a business is also covered. Pearl Harbor, as well as kamikaze attacks and the dropping of the atomic bomb by the Enola Gay, are depicted. Extensive information about World War 2 aviation flows throughout the second half of the comic, followed by a page on the Korean War, and the Berlin airlift. The last page, "And Tomorrow" deals with our future is space, with a depiction of a giant spacecraft. Partial color, no cover price.
