To save the web-slinger's life, Ka-Zar pulls him from the bottom of the lake in Central Park. And due to his near-drowning experience, Peter Parker regains his memory! In the meantime, Professor Spencer Smythe calls J. Jonah Jameson -- and tells him he has another spider slayer ready to go! Of course Jonah jumps at the chance to nab the wall-crawler! But will this robot fare any better than the last one (from Amazing Spider-Man #25)? Cameo appearances by Betty Brant, Ned Leeds, John Jameson, Joe Robertson, Captain Stacy, Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborn, and Zabu. (Notes: Ka-Zar and the wall-crawler meet again in Amazing Spider-Man 103.
