    Published Sep 2024 by Ablaze.

Volume 1 - 1st printing. "Burn!" Collects The Prism (2023 Ablaze) #1-7. Story and art by Matteo DeLongis. Noise pollution is crushing life on earth. The largest mega-corporation on the planet finances a crazy project called The P.R.I.S.M. (Purifying Recording Interplanetary Space Mission) to combat the phenomenon: sending a musical supergroup into space to record an album that will produce sounds able to push back the threat known as S.O.T.W. (Smoke on the Water) and save the planet. Where rock'n'roll excess and the survival of all life on Earth collide, there is...THE PRISM! Creator Matteo De Longis (Avengers: The Initiative, Sky Doll Space Ship) takes a far-out premise and builds a visually stunning and convincing new world that will have you mesmerized, telling the story about man's greatest feat in space so far. THE PRISM is destined to become your favorite new series featuring your favorite new band! The PRISM Vol. 1 collects the first arc of the hit series, including cover gallery and bonus material. 1st printing. Story and art by Tara Booth. Known for her buzzing colors, delightful patterns, sharp humor, and unflinching vulnerability, Tara Booth does not miss any mark in this exquisitely woven collection of pure and nasty magic. Part advice column and exhibit, exploration of psychic pollution and tranquility, Processing is-quite simply-intrepid: in its honesty; its unapologetic grossness; its unrivaled and frank portrayal of life with a body that bleeds. In the grand tradition of underground women cartoonists like Julie Doucet and Aline Kominsky-Crumb, Booth draws a horned up woman laying rose petals on the bed, to distract from the bedbugs before her hookup arrives. She bears witness to the reality of wearing a t-shirt with no bra-when you stretch, your boobs, sometimes, pop right out. This is all just life but we don't often see it on the page. Undaunted, Booth draws it. With color that vibrates and fluids that impose, Processing lays Booth bare-literally and figuratively. Softcover, 6 1/2-in.x 9-in., 408 pages, full color. Mature Readers Cover price $24.95.

Volume 7 - 1st printing. Basil Wolverton (July 9, 1909 - December 31, 1978) born in Central Point, Oregon and later moved to Vancouver, Washington. He worked as a vaudeville performer and a cartoonist and reporter for the Portland News. Wolverton was a master in caricaturing the human face and body and his drawings have elicited a wide range of reactions; he even described himself as a "Producer of Preposterous Pictures of Peculiar People who Prowl this Perplexing Planet." Preferring to work with pen and ink, Wolverton's lack of artistic schooling gave his drawings an otherworldly appearance. There was no other artist at the time who drew like him! Harvey Kurtzman felt "Wolverton never borrowed, never hacked, and he never shortchanged the public. Wolverton was an original." In 1991 he was posthumously inducted in the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame and in 2000 in the Will Eisner Hall of Fame. Collects Amazing Mystery Funnies featuring Space Patrol (December 1939-September 1940), Target Comics Month featuring Spacehawk (June 1940-June 1941), and Weird Tales of the Future featuring Basil Wolverton (June-September 1952). Hardcover (with Slipcase), 184 pages, full color. Cover price $62.99.
