LP and mini-comic set. Scout Interlude Timothy Truman and the Dixie Pistols (1987) LP from Eclipse Comics. Tim Truman, Creator of Scout and Grimjack, is an accomplished blues-derived musician as well as an artist. He and his band recorded this Vinyl LP album featuring ten tracks of original compositions, one of which is the Official Scout Comic's Theme Song. This 1987 first pressing from Eclipse Comics (their only record project) also features an original dust jacket cover painting by Truman and a four page 4.25-in x 6.5-in. mini-comic (released only with the record). The mini-comic, written and painted by Tim Truman, is titled "Scout: Interlude" featuring Scout and his girlfriend. Sleeve is 12.25-in. x 12.25-in. ABOUT TIM TRUMAN: Writer, artist, and musician, a graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. Truman has worked in the fantasy role-playing game industry providing illustrations for TSR games. He is also known for his work on such legendary comic characters as Conan the Barbarian for Dark Horse Comics, and Jonah Hex for DC.
