Second or later printing. Written and illustrated by Albert Uderzo, who died in 2020 at age 92. Translated from the original French by Anthea Bell and Derke Hockridge. An homage (of sorts) to Kirk Douglas' portrayal of Spartacus, this story concerns the merry band led by Asterix getting involved with Spartakis on a voyage to the fabled island of Atlantis. Adventure and laughs ensue. Hardcover with no dustjacket, laminated color cover, 9-in. x 11 1/2-in., 48 pages, full color.
We’ve been selling comics since 1961 (our first sale: Fantastic Four #1 at $0.25, see one of our first ads) and on the web since 1996.
