Also features "Where There's a Will" by Ed Wheelan; Steve Case, Crime Rover in "Poison Pen Murder" (art by Harry Sahle); Penny & Ullysses Jr. in "Their Adventures Deep in the Center of the Earth;" "Winnie the Welder" and "Flossie" (both signed Jourdain). Perhaps the highlight of the issue is a rare adventure starring World War II feminist and cultural icon Rosie the Riveter, as she applies for a wartime job. Sad Sack-like Army Private Rufe McGoof joins forces with British soldiers in the North Africa campaign. After Nazis kill her family, Tanya joins Russian guerrilla fighters to fight the German forces and becomes the Young Avenger. Because this comic was published with a newsprint cover, copies in VF to NM are extremely rare.
