Margie's boyfriend Freddie (who looks like Archie in this story, except for the freckles) gets a job as a magician's assistant. Freshman Freddy (a different character, originally from Fawcett's Whiz Comics) tries to avoid running over a flowerbed with his car, and instead destroys the entire house. Margie's dad accidentally pawns a gift from an important client, which Margie promptly buys and unknowingly regifts to the client.
