The original German Bart Simpson x2, the Kids are up to constant mischief, usually directed against the stern authority figures in their lives: their long-suffering Mama, Der Captain (a stranded sailor and their surrogate father), and the schools envoy, Der Inspector. These stories are original to the comic, not reprints from the comic strip. The back cover features an ad for the "Playking Athletic Belt," basically a girdle for chubby kids so they don't get teased during sports - a real sign of its times. 32 pages, Full Color. The original German Bart Simpson x2, the Kids are up to constant mischief, usually directed against the stern authority figures in their lives: their long-suffering Mama, Der Captain (a stranded sailor and their surrogate father), and the schools envoy, Der Inspector. The Kids manage to glue an elephant to the ceiling. Also featuring an ad for the Daisy air rifle, similar to the one featured in the film A Christmas Story.
