Special Double Issue #9 & 10 of the fanzine "Contemporary Pictorial Literature", or simply CPL, founded by Roger Stern and Bob Layton (the regular long-version title is not found anywhere on this issue; the full indicia reads "CPL Special Double-Issue #9 & 10...Presents the Charlton Portfolio").

The Charlton Portfolio marks the publisher's first foray into the fanzine market to showcase the artistic abilities of their creators and the roster line-up of their super heroes. In addition, includes articles touching on essentially every Charlton character, with pin-ups by Dave Cockrum, Jim Aparo, Dick Giordano, Joe Staton, Frank McLaughlin, and more. This prozine/fanzine melting pot served as the prototype issue for the Charlton Bullseye Magazine. Slick cover and paper stock, 8 1/2-in. x 11-in., 48 pg-B&W. Cover price $2.50.
