Tim's Store For Boys Promotional Illustrated Booklet. Not dated (Inside front cover ad is for July6 1929 issue of Knicker Magazine). Full title as appears on cover is - Tim's Trip to Mars in his Famous Shuttle-Shoot Airplane.

Some background first - Tim was a company symbol, rather like Buster Brown, for the clothing company Townsend-Ueberchein. Each month, the company published a mini comic starring Tim called The Knicker (later changed to Tim's Official Magazine) which contained comic strips, cartoons, text stories, as well as adverts for their clothing. The term Pie-Eater appears to be old slang in the gist of...a hip kid. Tim's Trip to Mars appears to be a stand-alone booklet from Tim's Stores For Boys featuring an illustrated text story starring Tim.

Mini booklet, wraparound cover art, paper cover, 3 7/8" x 6 3/4", mono blue color, 16 pages.
