LP-298 - Adapted from the story by H.G. Wells. Cover by Wally Wood. "I am Professor Cavour...I have travelled 236,000 miles to become THE FIRST MAN IN THE MOON!" Thrill to the fantastic tale of Professor Cavour and his invention of "cavourite", a gas which cancels out gravity. He builds a space vehicle and with a companion, Mr. Bedford, travels to the moon. Mr. Bedford returns to Earth, but Professor Cavour becomes the prisoner of the Selantics, people who live in the center of the moon and must invade Earth to survive. It's great movie adventures in sound and story. Includes one LP Album.
