SET-01 - Signed Limited Edition Portfolio of 1,000 copies. Four stunning plates by Barry Windsor-Smith (a.k.a. Barry Smith) drawn in 1974 soon after his acclaimed work on Conan the Barbarian for Marvel Comics. The plates depict barbarian- and knight-like men that symbolically represent the islands of Great Britain, each with an intricately-designed border (the format is similar to BWS's Four Ages portfolio). The first plate is hand-signed and numbered by Barry Windsor-Smith. Plates are approximately 10-in. x 16.5-in and come in an illustrated folder. Released in 1978 by Windsor-Smith's own company, The Gorblimey Press.
