"Return to Paradise Island!", script and pencils by Mike Sekowsky, inks by Dick Giordano; A messenger brings Diana back to Paradise Island, which has been attacked by Ares, who seeks to wrest the secret of inter-dimensional travel from Hippolyta; Felled in the initial battle, Hippolyta lies in a coma, and so it falls to Diana to make the decision to fight on; Horribly outnumbered and battered by another battle, Diana must come up with a new plan to turn the tide; Diana crosses dimensions looking for legendary heroes to gather to repel Ares' hordes, but the heroes refuse her call, though the valkyries led by Brunhilde join the Amazons; But as the women fall in battle, the heroes arrive and rout Ares' warriors.
