Painted cover by Brent Anderson. "Enter the Cat," script by Mike Baron, pencils by Brent Anderson, inks by David Mowry; Hayashi Kato uses the Red Chinese army's discipline against them and convinces their captain that he and Ulysses are high ranking officers on a top secret mission; The colonel to whom the captain reports this encounter is Cat Ng, Kato's former temple rival who begrudges Hayashi having been awarded the Demon Sword, which had been in his own family for years, by the temple leaders; In fact, Ng stole it to prevent the presentation; Meanwhile, Kato and Ulysses arrive at the temple and find that a woman named Tam Lam is being sheltered there, and that several members feel that Hayashi's White Ninja movies were a betrayal of Shaolin secrets; After Kato defeats that group's leader, Tong Loo, in combat, PRC troops led by Ng intrude. Their entry, the colonel reveals, was accomplished with the help of Lt. Carter Lin!; Ng tells Kato to either "make films that will serve the revolution - or die." 36 pgs., full color. $2.50. Painted cover by Sandra Chang. "Greater Glory," script by Mike Baron, pencils by Todd Fox, inks by Tony DeZuniga; As he agreed, Kato is directing a pro-Communism martial arts film, with shooting at the Shaolin temple; However, he is subtly manipulating the PRC government officials overseeing the production, and arranges a delay by having one of the cast, temple member Tong Loo, injure his "opponent" in what appears to be an accident; Col. Ng is not so easily fooled; He assigns two misleadingly sexy guards, Coral and Jade, to Kato, whom he has removed as director and locked in a cell when he's not filming; However, Kato had learned how to travel through the temple's ventilation shafts while a student, and finds Ulysses' cell; He arranges the appearance that Chow fell to his death while attempting to escape, pointing it out to five soldiers whom he fights and defeats. 36 pgs., full color. $2.50. Cover price $2.50.

"Demon Sword," script by Mike Baron, pencils by Todd Fox, inks by Tony DeZuniga; Filming resumes with Carter directing; Trying to explain to Kato his character's motivation for fighting Cat Ng's character, Lin puts himself into that role and says, "Fight me!" Hayashi does so, leaving him sprawled on the ground; Ng (saying Lin has been killed) takes over; Kato maneuvers the fight scene to a temple wall overlooking a high precipice; Ng orders him to return to the filming, but he threatens to jump if his own staff (Ulysses Chow and Tam Lam) aren't put back to work; Meanwhile, Chow has freed Tam from her cell, but while he wants to follow Kato's instructions and go after Sifu Ho, she insists on simply getting out; However, her chosen escape route leads them right into PRC troops; They are taken to Ng who threatens to kill the woman if Kato does not return to work, but he jumps!; Unseen and presumed dead by the others, Hayashi has concealed himself within a recess in the wall, where a loose brick opens a door to a passageway. 36 pgs., full color. $2.50.
