Thinking the alarm to be just another drill, the kids soon learn that the danger is all too real as they see their gym is on fire. The local Fire Dept. quickly arrives on scene and takes care of the blaze before it can get out of hand. Sparky the Fire Fighting Dog tells the boys and girls how he became a fire fighter and teaches them fire prevention and safety. 16 pages.
