Limited 1 for 10 Retailer Incentive Variant Cover. Written by Ted Anderson. Art by Nuno Plati. Cover by Jaun Doe. One day all the adults died, all over the world, at the same time. Now it's twenty years later, and the children - all grown up - are still rebuilding the world. Horses and caravans are the only thin lines connecting tiny, scattered settlements - little sparks in the great dark night. Gasoline is gone, phones long-dead, television a memory. The only power in America is the New Church, the religion of the angry children, that blames the destruction of the old world on the dead adults. In the settlement of Dallastown, a stranger comes riding in one day, telling a story of escape from the New Church's unstoppable Firemen. The Church is on the march, and the world might burn again - and the only hope might be a scared teenage girl, a gunslinger keeping his se-crets, and a woman of few words and long knives. Welcome to the Orphan Age. Written by Ted Anderson (MOTH & WHISPER, My Little Pony, Adventure Time) with art by Nuno Plati (Alpha: Big Time, Marvel Girl). 32 pages, full color.

Doctrine, training, tactics and equipment are discussed in depth, and medical services and engineers are also covered. Volume 56 - 1st printing. " Eggmühl 1809!" Written by Ian Castle. Art by Christa Hook. In the Spring of 1809, the Austrian army, buoyant and full of new-found patriotic fervour, rolled across the frontier with Bavaria. The time had come to exact revenge for the humiliating defeat suffered at Austerlitz. But ten days later, harassed by ceaseless rain, they were streaming back from the Abens river with Napoleon in hot pursuit. Napoleon had not been in the front line when Austria had launched its campaign - and the French and their German allies had blundered backwards and forwards across the Bavarian countryside. But, with the appearance of Napoleon, Archduke Charles lost the initiative. Based for the first time upon the Austrian primary sources, this title takes the reader through the various clashes of this significant campaign. Softcover, 96 pages, PC/PB&W. Cover price $19.95.

Volume 57 - 1st printing. " San Juan Hill 1898!" Written by Angus Konstam. Art by David Rickman. Labelled a 'splendid little war' by Senator John Hay, the Spanish American War was a peculiar event in America's history, provoked as much by the press as by political pressures. Here, aided by superbly detailed maps and artwork, the author deals with the clashes at Las Guasimas and El Caney, the capture of San Juan Hill, and the naval battle and siege of Santiago. The war was to mark the end of Spanish sovereignty in her 'New World', and the establishment of the United States of America as a world power. Softcover, 96 pages, PC/PB&W. Cover price $19.95.

Volume 59 - 1st printing. " Vittoria 1813!" Written by Ian Fletcher. Art by Bill Younghusband. Despite Wellington's success against Marmont's army at Salamanca in July, the year of 1812 ended in bitter disappointment for the British. However, a year later Wellington's series of brilliant manoeuvres threw the French onto the defensive on all fronts, culminating in the final victory at Vittoria: 90,000 men and 90 guns attacking in four mutually supporting columns. The French centre gave way and both flanks were turned, their army finally breaking in flight towards Pamplona. Any French hopes of maintaining their position in the Peninsular were crushed forever. On 7 October the British set foot on the 'sacred soil' of' Napoleon's France. Softcover, 96 pages, PC/PB&W. Cover price $19.95.

Volume 64 - 1st printing. " Nicopolis 1396!" Written by David Nicolle. Art by Christa Hook. By the second half of the 14th century, the once mighty Byzantine Empire had been reduced to little more than the city of Constantinople. In 1391, the Ottoman ruler Sultan Bayazid I 'The Lightning' besieged the city. Pope Boniface IX preached a crusade and a French-led army of 10,000 marched east. At Nicopolis they met the Ottoman army in battle. Ignoring the advice of their Hungarian and Transylvanian allies, the Crusaders charged the Turks and were in turn smashed by the Ottoman heavy cavalry. Volume 97 - 1st printing. " Bussaco 1810!" Written by René Chartrand. Art by Patrice Courcelle. By 1810, Napoleon reigned supreme over most of continental Europe. But the Iberian Peninsula remained unsubdued, particularly Portugal, which continued to resist. Napoleon ordered Marshal Masséna to crush this resistance with the Army of Portugal. Greatly strengthened, Masséna's army would drive the Portuguese and British into the sea. Facing the French were 60,000 British and Portuguese troops. No-one knew how the Portuguese would perform in battle, but on 27 September 1810, they received their baptism of fire. This title details the gruelling Bussaco campaign as French attempts to subdue Portugal reached their climax. Softcover, 96 pages, PC/PB&W. Cover price $19.95.

Volume 101 - 1st printing. " Austerlitz 1805 !" Written by Ian Castle. Art by Christa Hook. This all-new volume chronicles the events that climaxed on the field of Austerlitz in one of the most famous battles of history. Not only was it the first campaign Napoleon waged as Emperor of France, but also the first great test for his Grande Armée. The Emperor himself regarded it as his greatest victory and it undoubtedly won him a mastery of Europe that would remain unbroken for almost a decade. Most accounts of the campaign have until now been based almost exclusively on French sources, but following extensive research in the Austrian archives Ian Castle is now able to provide a far more balanced account of Austerlitz. Softcover, 96 pages, PC/PB&W Cover price $19.95.

Volume 106 - 1st printing. " Culloden Moor 1746!" Written by Stuart Reid. Art by Gerry Embleton. The final demise of Jacobitism amid the slaughter of the Highland clans on a cold and damp Culloden Moor in April 1746 is undoubtedly one of the most famous battles in British military history. It has also been, until recently, one of the least understood from both a military and political perspective. In this modern and highly detailed account, this book combines a thorough understanding of 18th century tactics, an intimate knowledge of the battlefield itself and a scandalously underused archive of contemporary material from both sides to provide a detailed, accurate and dramatic account of this controversial battle. Softcover, 96 pages, PC/PB&W Cover price $19.95.

Volume 133 - 1st printing. "Seven Days Battles 1862!" Written by Angus Konstam. Art by Stephen Walsh. When General Robert E. Lee took command of the Army of Northern Virginia, the Confederacy was in crisis. Lee changed all that in a brilliant, week-long campaign. On 26 June the Confederates struck, fighting two hard-fought battles in two days at Mechanicsville and Gaine's Mill. The ferocity of the Confederate assaults convinced McClellan that he was outnumbered. Unable to keep the Confederates at bay, the Union army was recalled to Washington. Despite losing a quarter of his men, Lee had saved Richmond, and inflicted a humiliating defeat on the Army of the Potomac. This book traces the course of this short yet crucial campaign. Softcover, 96 pages, PC/PB&W Cover price $19.95.
