One of the strips in the comic is Charles Schulz's Peanuts, featuring rare stories not written or drawn by Schulz, but by fellow artist Dale Hale. Linus and Charlie Brown get a model rocket, but Snoopy keeps attacking it. Then, in a strangely prescient moment, Snoopy agrees to be attached to the rocket so he can be sent to the moon. (Snoopy was later an official mascot for the space-flight program.)
