"Rhyme For Romance"; Archie reads a corny love poem to Veronica, who likes it and kisses him; Reggie decides that stunt would work for him, too, and buys a poem from Jughead; After bragging about how he was up all night writing the poem, Reggie reads it to Veronica. "By Shnook Or Crook"; Mr. Lodge has some jewelry that needs repairs and puts it in the pocket of his sport coat; Unknown to him, Archie has an identical sport coat, and takes Mr. Lodge's when he leaves for the evening. "Hose Who"; Veronica sends Archie to get a section of garden hose; He meets Moose and Midge and mentions that Veronica sent him to get some hose; Midge thinks he means nylon stockings and tells Moose he should get some for her. "Teen-Type"; When Archie's father reads of a gang crime in the paper, Archie reassures him that there's only a few juvenile delinquents and they can be spotted by how they dress. Pep Comics ad. "Let's Face It"; Archie appears to be painting a mustache on a portrait of Jughead, sending Mr. Weatherbee into gales of laughter. "Smear Campaign"; Betty and Veronica use Reggie as a guinea pig in their efforts to find smear-proof lipstick; When Betty tries to extend the experiment to Archie, Veronica objects. "Christmas Is Christmas" text story. "Test of the Town"; The gang is mad at Miss Grundy for being too strict; Jughead overhears the school superintendent tell Mr. Weatherbee that unless her class does well on the next day's test, Miss Grundy will be fired for not being effective; The gang thinks all they have to do is not study for the test and they will be rid of Miss Grundy. "Flood of Advice"; Reggie makes fun of Archie for wearing rubber boots and carrying an umbrella for his date with Veronica (at Veronica's request); Archie decides to ditch the boots and umbrella, but gets caught in the rain on his way to Veronica's. "Cute Numbers"; Betty and Veronica have a mysterious conversation involving numbers; When Mr. Weatherbee asks what they are studying, Veronica says they are just choosing some cute boys from the football team to invite to their party. "Of Dopes and Dames" text story.
